Jesus, you'd think Welch was molested by McCain.

Jesus, you'd think Welch was molested by McCain.

You're thinking of the guys at Daily Kos. Matt's take on McCain is always level-headed and fact-based. Sometimes that kind of analysis is harder for loyalists to stomach.

"Jesus, you'd think Welch was molested by McCain."

No, McCain had sex with Welch's mother when Matt was a little kid. I read it in Reason someplace. That's good enough for me. I'll try to find the link.

The guys at Daily Kos molested Matt? How horrific. Is there nothing Matt wasn't forced to endure during his childhood?

Episiarch | September 8, 2008, 3:10pm | #

It's "molestered". Get it straight.

Ironic | September 8, 2008, 3:14pm | #

I think that Welch is buttering up McCain so that he can be appointed to a cushy government job in the Drug Enforcement Agency by John McCain when he takes office in January. That's it isn't it?

I have it on good authority that if Matt Welch had any integrity, he'd ask Barack HUSSEIN HUSSEIN HUSSEIN Obama a bunch of inane questions and post his answers on youtube.

Two years ago, everyone was laughing at Matt Welch. "Write a book about Giuliani," they said "McCain's all washed up."

Who's laughing now?

Abdul | September 8, 2008, 3:32pm | #

Well, I guess Barney is laughing to the bank.

Matt Welch, eh, not so mucha.

This needs to be a podcast. In fact, most of the recent content on Reason.tv needs to be a podcast.

Would make it much more work-friendly and gym-friendly.

Sweatin' to Matt Welch! Bet that cracks Amazon's 50,000 mark

Christ, can this douchebag talk about anything other than McCain?

Gabe | September 8, 2008, 11:50pm | #

I am not a huge fan of Matt Welch but I like these clips. I also think it was smart to do the McCain book. If McCain wins, then Welch is the media's go to guy over the next four years for info on McCain. Nothing wrong with that. It is curious that he couldn't find any neo nazis or big time racist who donated $100 to McCain. It seems that he could mention this racist donation a lot and it would make McCain look worse.

Douglas Fletcher | September 10, 2008, 10:09am | #

So, have you got any offers for film options on the book?

My offer is $100, but you have to buy me a camcorder first.

Douglas Fletcher | September 10, 2008, 10:10am | #

I still maintain that Matt doesn't like McCain.
