Not sure, but it's kind of like how in a lot of Middle Eastern propaganda they call the Israelis Nazis.

So far as I can tell, Middle Eastern culture is a bizarroland of blaming other people for your own problems, no matter how badly you have to twist your perception of reality to do so.
