Sen. McCain mentions on this video he was "the greatest critic of the initial four years" and he had "bitter disagreements with the failed Bush strategies."

Does anybody recall if he ever expressed such bitterness? I remember Sen. Hagel's outrage and confusion, but did McCain ever scold the Bush administration during that horrific period of bloodshed?

The Republicans were sucking off Bush until around the spring of 2006, and that goes for McCain.

Because from 9/11 to 2005 or so, George W. Bush was the Next Churchill(tm) who could do no wrong, don't ya know.

I remember him saying "We need more troops in Iraq" and possibly disagreeing with the president on a few other tactical points. But he strongly supported the war itself.

The whole "greatest critic of the initial four years" thing is a wild exaggeration.

McCain's the worst candidate since Bob Dole.
