This Is What It Sounds Like When Ads Cry...

Over at the Associated Press' site for younger newshounds (whatever they be), ASAP, is a pretty cool remix/mashup created from signature lines in this season's attack ads. Politics never sounded good. Check it out here.

We're still waiting for the hip-hop version of David Mark's excellent cover story in the November Reason, "Attack Ads Are Good For You!". And when is Bill Shatner going to semi-parlando his way through "The 10 Dirtiest Political Races in U.S. History"?

I think the current "Jim Webb writes underage pedophilia" campaign needs to find its way into the mashup. I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the desperate ingenuity, or sickened by how politics has hit yet another new low (the Allen attack on Webb's fiction, to spell it out).
