Amanda Hodgson just wanted to work as an aide at her children’s school. She applied for what she thought would be a routine background check. Then Great Britain's Criminal Records Bureau sent back word she was a recovering heroin addict who had assaulted police officers. It turns out they'd sent the records of a woman with the same name. But they told Hodgson she'd have to be fingerprinted and produce her passport to prove she wasn't the other woman.
