Gillespie on MSNBC's Tucker Tonight

Tonight I'll be mixing things up with Tucker Carlson on his eponymous MSNBC talk show. I will be part of a panel yapping about current events (and hopefully, Congress' stupid attempt to regulate baseball).

Consult your local listings for a "show so fast, it's changing the pace of the news."

More on the former bowtie-wearin', Dancin' with the Stars man himself here. And here's his very pro-Ron Paul profile from, coff, coff, The New Republic.

Never change your Lego man snap-on haircut, Nick. Never change.

Hey Nick, be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to bash Ron Paul for being a "racist and gay-hater."

Oh, and don't forget to implore him to out the authors of those "racist and gay-hating" newletters.

I just hope he wears his cool biker jacket.

Nutter | January 21, 2008, 9:44am | #

Wow! Tucker Carlson has a friend who owns a brothel. He's cooler than anyone at Reason.

tepid | January 21, 2008, 9:48am | #

Nuance is more than Paul deserves, am I right?

crimethink | January 21, 2008, 10:04am | #

Just in case Justin Raimondo is hanging around, Nick actually did work for Suck. So, if you want to use that famous put-down, this is your chance.

Tom Walls | January 21, 2008, 10:28am | #

Gee, Nick may be a cosmotarian, but he's not a sniveling jackanapenestrian like some of the posters on this board.

Roger | January 21, 2008, 10:33am | #

Go get 'em Nick. Kick ass and take names. Good luck!

NP | January 21, 2008, 10:54am | #

Nick, if you wanna keep an even remotely cosmopolitan bone in your body, you might wanna stay away from someone who couldn't dance a dumbed-down Macarena for life. (Seriously, am I the only one who thinks Carlson sucked on Dancing with the Stars to an impossible degree?)

Seriously, am I the only one who thinks Carlson sucked on Dancing with the Stars to an impossible degree?

Maybe, but you're in the running for the only one who cares...

Crimethink has taken an early lead to win this thread.

Michael C. Moynihan has been blacklisted from North Korea.

Lets see....Tucker knows a pimp but Moynihan pissed of North Korea so much that they specifically prohibited him....

Moynihan wins

I don't believe I have ever sniveled. Nor am I a Nick fan-boy.

NoStar | January 21, 2008, 12:57pm | #

I'll tune in Nick, if you'll trade your leather jacket for Tucker's bow tie.

Brent | January 21, 2008, 1:30pm | #

Super cool, I'll be watching!

NP | January 21, 2008, 2:13pm | #

Taktix,

Heh, to be frank I tuned in just to see how Carlson would hold his own, and that was either the best amusement I'd had or the dumbest mistake I'd made in eons (or maybe both).

In addition to Mr. Bow Tie and Mr. Bad Boy [TM], tonight's other guests include:

- Ray J. Johnson
- Gallagher
- the boy who says "I didn't do it"

I hope they bring up this orangeline conspiracy.

Al Federber | January 21, 2008, 6:30pm | #

Nick is dreamy.

"I try not to talk to libertarians all that much"

Zing!

I don't get it. Is "coff" how cool people spell "cough"?

GILMORE | January 22, 2008, 12:04am | #

I think nick's hair and jacket will briefly release him from their Spawn-like symbiotic control system to attack Tucker Carlson's bow tie and tweeds, which are an enemy species of mind-control shapeshifting aliens that turn their hosts into smarmy douches.

If not, I think Nick will own the dude either way. In a way slightly more congenial and tolerant than say, his manhandling of Bill O Reilly

When will this piece of broadcast excellence be on Reason.tv or in the Youtubes?
