LOL.

A Chip Bok cartoon I agree with. Who'd have thunk it?

A Chip Bok cartoon that made me smirk/smile. Who'd have thunk that?

I'm with them, a Bok cartoon that made me laugh and was insiteful.

Who'd've thunk it indeed.

FWIW, I heard somewhere (probably on NPR) that GM wouldn't have minded a short strike: It would have depleted inventories somewhat.

This from Dow Jones, via CNN, e.g.:

"A strike of limited duration would help trim bloated inventories at the largest U.S. auto maker, but a lengthy work stoppage could crimp supply of key vehicles and would take a financial toll on GM."

Of course, most of the "foreign" cars are actually made in America, while the "American" cars are increasingly being outsourced to Mexico, Canada, and (as Bok observes) China.

Maybe it's time for a new slogan. "Honda: Buy American."

When do we get to go on strike?
