Not quite keeping pace? That's 40%. That's like saying a baseball player with a .120 average is not quite keeping pace with a guy who's hitting .300.

I guess if you were an incrementalist, you wouldn't write for Reason, but come on, Jacob, they've taken a problem and cut it in half, and then a little more.

[Rep. Nancy Boyda] told The New York Times "Democracy is a contact sport, and I'm not going to be shy about asking for money for my community."

Since the United States is not a democracy I wonder who actually accepts this kind of rationalization. Perhaps the New York Times reporter could have pointed that out to her.
