How many times have you flipped on HBO's gritty drugs-n-race-n-crime drama The Wire and wished it had a laugh track? Wish no more.

A little less successful is this Fox News clip, wherein Bill O'Reilly and Neal "the head" Cavuto are joined by a live studio audience.

That really didn't work for me. And seeing how I'm still working through Season One on DVD, I stopped watching it.

I'm one of the forty or so people who watch HBO's The Wire. I do enjoy the program...its not Deadwood, but I do like it.

Personally, I thought it was amateur-brilliant. Way funnier than SNL has been in over a decade. Someone else did the same thing on YouTube with old music videos and mix-matched songs. I remember Sheryl Crow's "A Change Woould Do You Good" went particularly well with the Archie's cartoon "Sugar Sugar" ....

That was OK, but not as good as Lou Reed's Sister Ray dubbed over Lawrence Welk and band playing the Cowsill's Indian Lake.

I like Dennis Miller's idea of putting a laugh track under Cops...
