Skip the orange alert; go right to red. Stock up on canned goods, flashlights, duct tape, and Hefty bags. Make sure the car is gassed up and you've got directions to a deep-rural hideaway. Prepare your mech suit, Hazmat gear, metal diving suit, and a beekeeper outfit just to be on the safe side. Expect a massive terrorist assault on America's soil in the month of August.

Your constitutional rights protect you from Islam, how?
Islam replaces constitutional rights, or replaces you.
One could say ``radical Islam,'' but I don't know whether that's a necessary qualification or not. The moderates if any are as fearful of the radicals as anybody, apparently.
Christianity only claims you'll burn in hell, since the Reformation. Good luck to you and all that, is all the sanction they offer, albeit occasionally offing an abortion doctor.
The war on terror aims to make radical Islam unappealing enough to die out wherever it starts.
Part of that is to prevent its growing to a size that can pull anything worthwhile off, the deal being :
1. You need a certain size to do anything really nasty;
2. A certain size becomes easy to detect and defeat, with enough arm-twisting of friendly and not-so-friendly governments.
The idea is to make size (1) bigger than size (2), hence all the government intrusions.
Once (1) is bigger than (2), it's defeated, in that it can't take root and survive anywhere.
Not much to do with al Qaeda specifically.

In 1948, a prominent group of Jewish people in the U.S. sent a letter to the NY TIMES, condemning the actions of Israel's new FREEDOM PARTY, headed by Menachem Begen, (who later became Prime Minister), and excerpt from this letter reads:
"A shocking example was their behavior in the Arab village of Deir Yassin. This village, off the main roads and surrounded by Jewish lands, had taken no part in the war, and had even fought off Arab bands who wanted to use the village as their base. On April 9 (THE NEW YORK TIMES), terrorist bands attacked this peaceful village, which was not a military objective in the fighting, killed most of its inhabitants — 240 men, women, and children — and kept a few of them alive to parade as captives through the streets of Jerusalem. Most of the Jewish community was horrified at the deed, and the Jewish Agency sent a telegram of apology to King Abdullah of Trans-Jordan. But the terrorists, far from being ashamed of their act, were proud of this massacre, publicized it widely, and invited all the foreign correspondents present in the country to view the heaped corpses and the general havoc at Deir Yassin.
The Deir Yassin incident exemplifies the character and actions of the Freedom Party."
......"During the last years of sporadic anti-British violence, the IZL and Stern groups inaugurated a reign of terror in the Palestine Jewish community. Teachers were beaten up for speaking against them, adults were shot for not letting their children join them. By gangster methods, beatings, window-smashing, and wide-spread robberies, the terrorists intimidated the population and exacted a heavy tribute"
Albert Einstein was among those who signed this letter.
Menachen Begin was Prime Minister of Israel from 1977 to 1983; He once said:
""OUR RACE IS THE MASTER RACE. WE ARE DIVINE GODS ON THIS PLANET. WE ARE AS DIFFERENT FROM THE INFERIOR RACES AS THEY ARE FROM INSECTS. IN FACT, COMPARED TO OUR RACE, OTHER RACES ARE BEASTS AND ANIMALS, CATTLE AT BEST. OTHER RACES ARE CONSIDERED AS HUMAN EXCREMENT. OUR DESTINY IS TO RULE OVER THE INFERIOR RACES. OUR EARTHLY KINGDOM WILL BE RULED BY OUR LEADER WITH A ROD OF IRON. THE MASSES WILL LICK OUR FEET, AND SERVE US AS OUR SLAVES."
Who is worse Iran's leader Ahmadinejad or Begin? Hard to say.
The tendency is to line up on one side or the other, either supporting Israel or her enemies, rather than acknowledge that there are extremists on both sides.
Jewish people are much safer in the U.S. than they are in Israel because "the everyone is created equal" idea runs deep here. Look at how we treat illegal immigrants. We're not even willing to deport them.
