Rodney Dangerfield, R.I.P.

Completed the Triple Lindy this afternoon. Since we already had our probituary two weeks ago, I'll just say that, even though I wasn't expecting any more Rodney material on this side of the grave, I'm a sadder man.

Local (miami) played up his "I get no respect" line, but y'know, he could actually play different characters. Caddyshack vs. Back to School.
And while I'm hardly going to put Back to School on a top ten liberatarian films list, he did play a real, successful businessman, managing to get thru a bunch of pointy-headed professors (well, Sally Kellerman's head wasn't pointy, her blouse was) the old-fashioned way....hard work and bribery.

Here's to you, Rodney. Ya made me laugh.
